The 3M™ 6000 series full face masks have proven themselves thanks to their ease of use and user comfort. With the new exhalation valve
they are now more durable and easier to clean. They are available in three sizes. They offer less breathing resistance, which further increases your comfort.
All are equipped with the 3M bayonet thread, which allows them to be connected to various lightweight filters, protecting the user from gases, vapors, and particles - depending on your specific needs. Designed for minimal maintenance with maximum simplicity and comfort.

Areas of Application
The 6000 series masks are used with filters in several different configurations:

Gas and Vapor Filters: These filters typically protect against one or more types of pollutants.
- 6000 series filters attach directly to the mask.
Particle-only filters: These filters provide protection against solid particles or aerosols from non-volatile liquids.
- 2000 series particle filters mount directly to the mask.
- 5000 series particle filters can be used alone only with the 603 adapter and 501 holders.
- Encapsulated P3 filters are designated as 6035 and 6038. They mount directly to the mask.

Combined Filters (Gas/Vapor and Particle):
- 5000 series particle filters can be used with 6000 series gas/vapor filters
(except 6035, 6038, 6096, 6098, and 6099) using the 501 holder.
- Filters 6096, 6098, and 6099 also contain particle filtration media in the gas and vapor cartridges.
- Product 6038 is an encapsulated particle filter with an activated carbon layer for low concentrations of vapors and gases.

Pressure Mode: All filters except:
P1 (5911) and P2 (5925, 2125, and 2128) and 6098 and 6099 can be used with the S-200 powered air purifying respirator unit
