COLOURLOCK Aniline Cream 1 l – Professional Protection for Luxury Aniline Leather
COLOURLOCK Aniline Cream is a specialized protective and nourishing cream designed for the most sensitive types of leather – aniline, semi-aniline, and fine calfskin. These materials are prized for their natural appearance and exceptional softness, but their open structure (pores) makes them extremely susceptible to soiling.
This professional 1-liter packaging is the ideal choice for maintaining large designer sofas, luxury leather interiors, or for upholstery workshops and detailing centers.
Aniline leather is dyed by immersion in a bath without applying a covering pigment layer. The result is leather that "breathes," but also instantly absorbs any liquid (water, grease, sweat). Without adequate protection, dark stains appear, which are practically impossible to remove.
Aniline Cream solves these problems:
Impregnation: Creates an invisible protective shield that repels liquids and grease.
Prevention of drying: Supplies the leather with necessary fats, thereby preserving its renowned suppleness.
UV stability: Protects against sunlight, which causes rapid color fading in aniline leathers.
Given the packaging size and specific composition, the product is intended for:
Luxury furniture: Large seating sets and chairs made from exclusive open-pore leathers.
Fashion goods: Treatment of large garments made from fine lambskin or calfskin.
Interiors of premium vehicles: Car seats made from aniline leather (often in the highest trims of luxury brands).
Colorfastness test: Always test the cream on a hidden spot before application. Apply a small amount and observe if any undesirable color change occurs after drying.
Cleaning: First remove dust and dirt from the leather (we recommend a gentle cleaner for aniline leather).
Application: Apply a small amount of cream to a clean, soft, lint-free cloth.
Spreading: Gently and evenly massage the cream in circular motions from seam to seam. Never apply the cream directly onto the leather!
Drying: Allow the cream to absorb naturally (approx. 10–20 minutes). For the first treatment of new leather, we recommend applying two thin layers.
Leather type: Intended only for smooth open-pore leather (aniline). Do not use on suede (nubuck, suede) or on standard pigmented leather.
Frequency: To maintain the hydrophobic effect, apply every 3 months to exposed areas (headrests, seat cushions).
Quantity: Less is more. For aniline leather, it is better to apply two thin layers than one thick one to avoid saturating the pores.
