COLOURLOCK Aniline & Nubuck Cleaner is a gentle cleaning agent developed for the most demanding types of leather. If you own an aniline leather sofa, nubuck shoes, or a suede jacket, you know that ordinary cleaners leave behind indelible stains and marks. This product is designed to clean effectively while showing maximum respect for the natural absorbency of these materials.
Unlike cleaners for smooth leather, this product respects the open pore structure and delicate nap of sanded leather, preventing it from hardening and becoming permanently damaged.
Aniline leather (open) and sanded leathers (nubuck, suede, velour) do not have a protective layer of paint and lacquer on the surface. Every impurity and liquid immediately penetrates deep into the structure. Aniline & Nubuck Cleaner works on the principle of gently releasing impurities, which can then be safely removed without "drowning" the leather.
Aniline furniture: Luxury seating sets that are warm and soft to the touch.
Nubuck and suede footwear: Popular "workers" or elegant suede pumps.
Clothing: Jackets made from sanded leather and gloves.
Fashion accessories: Handbags and backpacks made from fine calfskin (aniline).
Important test: Always test the cleaner on a hidden spot before first use. Apply a small amount, let it dry, and observe the material's reaction.
Foam preparation: Apply the product using a sponge or brush. Create a gentle foam.
Cleaning: Always clean from seam to seam to prevent the formation of defined wet stains. Proceed gently, do not rub the surface aggressively.
Drying: After cleaning, let the leather dry naturally at room temperature (never use a hairdryer or radiator).
Final treatment: For sanded leather (nubuck/suede), after drying, gently brush the nap with a special suede brush to restore its velvety appearance.
Material darkening: It is natural for the leather to darken after applying the cleaner (as it has absorbed moisture). After complete drying, the color will return to its original state (unless it was soiled with grease).
Greasy stains: This product is intended for general soiling. For greasy stains (from hair on headrests or from food), we recommend using a special degreasing spray COLOURLOCK Fat Absorbent.
Impregnation: After each cleaning of open leather, it is essential to apply protection (e.g., Waterproofing or Aniline Cream) to close the pores again against moisture.
