COLOURLOCK Artificial Leather Protector is a specially developed preservative for modern synthetic materials, such as artificial leather (eco-leather), leatherette, vinyl, and plastics. This compact 100 ml bottle is the ideal choice for households to treat smaller furniture, fashion accessories, or parts of car interiors.

Unlike products intended for genuine leather, which can create a sticky film on synthetics, this protector works with the surface layer of artificial leather to seal and protect it without altering its natural appearance.

Why is protecting artificial leather important?

Artificial leather (PU, PVC, or vinyl) consists of a backing fabric and a surface layer of synthetic material. Over time and due to UV radiation, sweat, and friction, the following occurs:

1. Brittleness: The material loses plasticizers and begins to crack or peel.

2. Soiling: Dust and pigments from clothing (e.g., jeans) get into the pores, which are later difficult to remove.

3. Fading: Sunlight breaks down the dye and the material loses its original shade.

Where can you use the 100 ml bottle?

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation: The surface must be clean and dry. We recommend using a gentle cleaner for artificial leather.

2. Application: Apply a small amount of the product to a soft cloth (microfiber).

3. Spreading: Spread a thin layer evenly over the entire surface. Do not rinse!

4. Drying: Allow to air dry (approx. 15–30 minutes). After drying, it is not necessary to polish the surface.

5. Repetition: For maximum lifespan, apply every 3 months.

Important information:

• Material: Intended exclusively for artificial leather, leatherette, and vinyl. Do not use on genuine leather (especially not on suede and nubuck).

• Effect: The product preserves the original matte appearance. It does not leave shine or greasiness.

• Color protection: Reduces the risk of color migration, but protection may not be 100% with extremely low-quality textiles (cheap jeans).
