COLOURLOCK Elephant Leather Oil is a world-renowned, premium product for treating and preserving smooth leather. Although the name evokes strength and durability, it is a natural elephant leather oil designed to protect leather from adverse weather conditions, nourish it, and restore its natural softness.
This product is the absolute top choice for caring for the leather interiors of vintage cars, convertibles, leather accessories, and quality footwear.
Deep Regeneration: Revives old, hardened, and dried-out leather.
Hydrophobic Effect: Creates a protective film on the surface that repels water and dirt.
Protection Against Mold: Thanks to its composition, it is ideal for items stored in more humid environments (e.g., seasonally winterized vehicles).
No Animal Fats: Unlike common leather oils, it does not yellow, discolor, or oxidize over time, protecting the fiber structure.
Vintage and Convertible Interiors: Ideal for older leathers that need softening and for open vehicles exposed to moisture.
Leather Footwear: Perfect for treating hiking boots and leather soles (increases their resistance to getting wet).
Saddles and Harnesses: Excellently protects equestrian gear from sweat and rain.
Leather Accessories: Suitcases, bags, and belts regain their flexibility and gentle shine.
Preparation: Before applying the oil, thoroughly clean the leather (we recommend COLOURLOCK Mild or Strong Leather Cleaner) and let it dry.
Application: Apply a small amount of oil to a clean, soft cloth.
Working In: Using circular motions, evenly massage the oil into the leather surface. The oil is highly concentrated, so a thin layer is sufficient.
Absorption: Allow the oil to absorb. For very dry leather, you can repeat the process after 24 hours.
Final Step: If any excess oil remains on the surface after application, wipe it off with a clean, dry cloth.
Leather Type: The product is intended exclusively for smooth leather. Do not use on suede or nubuck leather, as this would cause permanent darkening and matting of the nap.
Color Change: The oil may slightly darken lighter shades of leather (similar to water when wet). We always recommend performing a test on an inconspicuous area.
Temperature: At low temperatures, the oil may slightly thicken. Before use, simply let it sit at room temperature for a while or warm it gently in your hands.
