COLOURLOCK Leather Shield – Premium Leather Protection and Impregnation 100ml

COLOURLOCK Leather Shield is a top-tier impregnation agent developed using the latest technologies to protect smooth, pigmented leather. Unlike standard conditioners that nourish the leather, this product creates an invisible, ultra-thin barrier on the surface that protects the leather from mechanical wear and dye transfer.

Why is leather protection key?

New and like-new leather (up to 3 years old) does not yet need deep oil nourishment, but it requires intensive protection from friction and dye transfer from clothing (e.g., jeans). Leather Shield is designed precisely for this purpose – it stabilizes the surface and minimizes damage during entry and exit from the vehicle.

Main features and benefits:

• Protection against abrasion: Reduces friction in the most stressed areas (seat bolsters, steering wheel), thereby extending the lifespan of the leather's surface finish.

• Prevention of dye transfer: Creates a shield against dye migration from textiles (so-called "denim transfer"), which is crucial especially for light-colored interiors.

Usage instructions:

1. Preparation: The surface must be clean and dry before application. We recommend first cleaning the leather with the cleaning agent COLOURLOCK Mild Cleaner.

2. Application: Apply a small amount of the product to a soft microfiber cloth or applicator sponge.

3. Spreading: Apply evenly to the leather from seam to seam. Work gently; there's no need to press hard.

4. Drying: Allow to air dry freely (approximately 30 – 60 minutes). Do not polish the leather after application.

Recommended intervals:

For maximum protection of the driver's seat, we recommend reapplying every 3 months. Other interior parts only need treatment every 6 to 12 months.

Warning: The product is not suitable for suede leather (suede, nubuck) or aniline leather (open pore). Always test on a less visible area before use.
