COLOURLOCK Leather Shield is a premium product designed to protect the surface of smooth leather from wear, dye transfer, and mechanical damage. Thanks to the liter packaging, it is the ideal choice for professional detailing studios, upholsterers, or vehicle owners with extensive leather interiors.

This product, based on modern polymers, creates an invisible protective layer on the surface that does not alter the appearance or texture of the leather but significantly extends its lifespan.

For which leather is it intended?

Leather Shield is specifically developed for new leather (used for up to 3 years) or leather after renovation and dyeing. Older leather requires nourishment (e.g., Elephant Leather Preserver), while new leather primarily needs protection of its surface finish.

Usage instructions:

1. Surface Preparation

The leather surface must be clean and dry before application.

• Cleaning: We recommend COLOURLOCK Mild Cleaner (regular soiling) or Strong Cleaner (heavy soiling).
• Drying: After cleaning, allow the leather to air dry naturally. Do not use external heat sources.

2. Application Method

• Shaking: Shake the container thoroughly before use.
• Application: Apply using a soft cloth (microfiber/cotton) or an applicator sponge.
• Spreading: Apply in a thin and even layer from seam to seam.
• Drying: Allow to air dry freely. Do not buff! In most cases, one thin application is sufficient.

Recommended treatment interval:

• Heavily stressed areas: every 3 months.
• Normally stressed areas: every 6 to 12 months.

Important notice: Always test the product on an inconspicuous area. It is not suitable for suede, nubuck, or aniline leather. Store in a dry place and protect from frost.
