DEKASEAL 8936

It is a sealing and slightly adhesive mastic specially developed for joints that need to be sealed and made waterproof. This mastic perfectly replaces common foam or rubber seals on attached parts of caravans (windows, plugs, doors, joints, trims). The DEKASEAL 8936 mastic remains permanently flexible, so even under normal vibrations and deformations, the joint's seal will not be compromised. Such a joint is disassemblable, and the mastic can be easily cleaned and replaced with a new one. The sealing mastic DEKASEAL 8936 does not attract dust or dirt, nor does it bleed any color, so it will not be a source of unsightly spots on your caravan.

Sealing

Generally, DEKASEAL 8936 adheres well even without pre-cleaning on clean, dry, dust- and grease-free substrates of aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, zinc, copper, brass, powder-coated sprayed metal, most painted metal surfaces, glass, PVC, polyester (GRP), painted and varnished wood, etc. For substrates not listed and further information, contact the Dekalin seller.

Instructions for use:

Dekaseal 8936 can be applied using a manual gun, compressed air gun, or battery-powered gun. When using compressed air, a pressure of 3-5 bar is necessary. Excess material can be wiped off with the same material after a few minutes. This material can be cleaned with technical gasoline. After drying, the mastic retains a certain inherent slight tackiness, is odorless, and does not damage painted surfaces.
