Designed for spraying and extruding sealing and sound-deadening materials (DINITROL 750 in a 310ml cartridge package). Allows regulation of material quantity and spray pattern, enabling you to achieve the desired structures, like on original OEM surface coatings for sills, fenders, and underbodies. More about the application can be found in the product video.
Usage:
- open the cartridge with DINITROL 750 material and insert it into the gun, then screw on the outer container
- set the input air pressure to 6-8 bar
- set the air regulator (2) to about 0.5 turns and the material quantity (3) to unscrewed about 10mm turns
- use the rotating nozzle (1) to adjust the structure and overall appearance of the sprayed surface
Spraying:
- Fine structure - spray nozzle (1) unscrewed about 3mm turns, higher volume of spray air (2) and significantly less material (3)
- Coarse structure - spray nozzle (1) at about 1mm, air (2) at minimum and material stop at higher volume (3). However, it generally holds true that OEM surfaces, for example on car sills, use finer surface structures precisely for subsequent repainting
Sealing:
- Unscrew the spray nozzle and replace it with the included threaded nozzle
- Choose a suitable tip depending on the type and shape of the sealed joint you want to achieve. The package also includes guide tips, which are intended for sealing perimeter joints of folded seams (doors, hoods). To finish the sealant "bead," you can use a spatula or a nylon brush
- Spray air in this case serves no function, so it can remain closed
Cleaning:
- This is a maintenance-free gun, so you only remove the material cartridge when replacing it
- Clean only the spray nozzle and material tips. Use gun cleaners or acetone for cleaning
- Gently clean the gun body with a special wet wipe for cleaning adhesives SCRUBS
- Never clean the gun itself with acetone, as it can damage the rubber seals
