DINITROL 900 Rust Stabilizer

An epoxy-based stabilizer that actively converts rust into a solid, glossy black paintable film. This film continues to prevent air and moisture from reaching the surface, thereby preventing further corrosion.

Treat the affected surface with a thin layer of DINITROL RC900, which chemically stabilizes the corrosion process. Then, after at least 2 hours (ideally 24 hours), we recommend roughening the layer (with P400 abrasive paper) and treating it with a protective spray paint or an underbody anti-corrosion spray.

A surface treated this way is ready for painting, filling, gluing, or further anti-corrosion treatment with another layer. As paint, you can use an epoxy primer or polyurethane paint. As a final underbody spray, you can use the full range of DINITROL materials designed for this purpose. Contains no lead, zinc, or chromium.
