The package contains 2 light units and a control unit ensuring automatic switching on and off of the LED lights.

The possibility to use daytime running lights on vehicles was introduced by Act No. 8/2009 Coll. on road traffic and
on amendments and supplements to certain acts. According to § 32 par. 1 of the Act, they can be used instead of dipped
headlights in conditions of unobstructed visibility, i.e., typically also during mandatory daytime running. Compared to using
dipped headlights for this purpose, their advantage is mainly lower power consumption and the resulting fuel savings
and reduced amount of exhaust gases produced.

The electrical wiring of the lights ensures:
a) automatic switching on of the daytime running lights. (by connection to the ignition)
b) automatic switching off of the daytime running lights when front fog lights, dipped
or main beam headlights are switched on, except when the headlights are lit for a short interval as
a light warning device,
c) that together with the daytime running lights, the side marker lights and the license plate illumination lights
must not be lit.
