If you are looking for a way to transform a good result into absolute perfection, the Flex Finish-Pad with a diameter of 75 mm is a key component of your arsenal. This soft foam pad represents the pinnacle of automotive surface finishing engineering, designed specifically for the most demanding detailers and painters.
The Flex Finish-Pad is made from premium polyurethane foam with a very dense, yet fine cellular structure. This specific foam density is calibrated to absorb minimal polishing compound into the pad, thereby maximizing its effectiveness directly on the paint surface.
Thanks to its low profile and compact size (75 mm), it provides the operator with excellent feedback, stability, and control over the polisher's movement, which is critically important for final polishing.
This size is indispensable when standard 125 mm or 150 mm pads reach their limits. It is ideal for:
Complex Shapes: Modern cars have numerous contours, sharp edges, and narrow lines.
Door Pillars: Piano black paint on B-pillars is extremely prone to holograms; this pad safely removes them.
Bumpers and Mirrors: Areas with limited space where maximum precision is required.
Due to its extreme fineness, this pad exhibits almost no abrasiveness. Instead of cutting the paint, it performs ultra-fine surface smoothing, leading to maximum light refraction and the creation of a deep, mirror-like shine characteristic of show cars.
Holograms and "ghosting" are the nightmare of every detailer, especially on dark paints. The Flex Finish-Pad, in combination with a fine finishing compound (anti-hologram), not only masks these optical defects but permanently removes them.
The foam is designed to effectively dissipate heat during work. Heat buildup is undesirable during final polishing, as it can cause premature compound drying or damage sensitive paints. This pad keeps the working surface within a safe temperature range.
Although the pad is optimized for FLEX brand machines (such as the PXE 80 or other small polishers with a 75 mm backing plate), it is fully compatible with all rotary and dual-action (DA) polishers on the market that use hook-and-loop fastening.
Unlike cheap replacements, the Flex Finish-Pad does not crumble or lose its shape even after multiple work cycles. The high-quality hook-and-loop (Velcro) holds firmly even at high speeds of dual-action polishers with large throw.
Preparation: Before use, ensure the paint surface is perfectly decontaminated and free of coarse contaminants.
Compound Application: Apply 3-4 pea-sized drops of fine finishing compound to the pad.
Work: Work on an area of approximately 40x40 cm with minimal pressure. Let the machine and the fine foam structure do the work.
Cleaning: After each panel, we recommend blowing out the pad with compressed air or cleaning it with a pad brush to remove residue of dried compound.
Who is it for? This product is a must-have for professional detailing studios, paint shops, and enthusiasts who refuse compromises and demand a 100% flawless surface without compromise.
