Instructions for cleaning the engine compartment
When you are about to clean the engine compartment, it is important that the engine is completely cooled down.
Dilute our universal cleaner Green Star in a ratio of 1:10.
Cover everything that should not get wet. All air intakes, alternator, coils, electronic control unit (ECU), on-board diagnostics (OBD) and similar. It is best to use a plastic bag and masking tape.
Apply the prepared product first to the inside of the hood and then to the engine compartment itself. If there is heavy dirt settled in the engine compartment, we recommend using the engine cleaning brush to break up the dirt and thus help with easier removal.
Then let the product work for 2-4 minutes. Caution: never let it dry!
Then rinse the engine compartment using a hose with water or a high-pressure cleaner (pressure washer).
The engine compartment is clean and ready for preservation.
Instructions for engine preservation
After washing, we recommend treating and preserving the engine compartment with our special preservative Motorplast. Treated parts will look like new again. Thanks to its excellent penetrating effect and permanently elastic protective film, the engine will be protected from corrosion and environmental influences.
Applying our Motorplast is simple:
Spray it in one thin layer from a distance of approximately 20-30 cm onto a pre-cleaned, still damp surface. (Only after washing!)
Then the preservative must dry. The drying time is approximately 4 hours. ( After application, close the hood and let it work )
After 4 hours, your vehicle's engine will be like new.
Finally, wipe off any residue with a microfiber cloth.
