RUPES backing pads are specially designed for use with orbital polishers from this Italian manufacturer. Given that these polishers have a smaller (15 mm) orbit, using a larger diameter backing pad and discs will result in lower correction intensity. Additionally, imbalance may occur, which can lead to damage to the polisher's gear train!
