SBS-2 Lane Change Assist System, Blind Spot

The new and improved STEELMATE Blind Spot Monitoring System 2nd generation, with a maximum range of 30 meters. The SBS-2 alerts the driver that they are already being overtaken by another vehicle from the left or right side. Drivers forget to visually check the lane behind the vehicle - in the blind spot before changing lanes. The system reduces the likelihood of a fatal traffic accident during overtaking and lane changes. The SBS-2 is homologated and developed in collaboration with an automobile manufacturer. It uses 77GHz microwave high-frequency technology.

Therefore, it is essential that the driver always relies on their own abilities and driving experience. This device does not replace the driver's ability to control the vehicle and make correct decisions while driving.
