A vehicle's headlights are constantly exposed to demanding conditions that lead to their yellowing, clouding, and hazing, which significantly reduces their brightness and driving safety. SprayMAX 2K 2in1 Clear Coat solves this problem by creating an extremely durable, highly transparent, and light-stable protective layer.

Thanks to its two-component technology (clear coat + hardener in one spray), this product provides excellent resistance to UV radiation, salt water, chemicals from car washes, and mechanical damage (e.g., flying stones). The clear coat bonds permanently to the surface, preventing re-yellowing and degradation. The result is not only a restored appearance but also increased lighting efficiency and vehicle safety.

Its application is simple but requires thorough surface preparation by sanding for optimal results. With a professional nozzle and a high gloss level (94 +/- 4 gloss units at a 20° angle), you'll achieve a finish that looks like new.

Instructions for Use (brief overview, detailed instructions can be found on the packaging):

1. Preparation: Thoroughly wash the headlights, clean them of insects and dirt. Degrease the surface. Carefully mask the area around the headlights.

2. Restoration - Sanding:

   • Yellowed/dull headlights without significant scratches: Sand the surface with P1000 sandpaper and then P3000 (wet, not with circular motions).

   • Headlights with scratches/white marks from stones: Sand progressively from coarser grit (e.g., P180, P400, P1000, P3000). Scratches can also be polished mechanically.

   • After sanding, thoroughly remove sanding dust and degrease the surface again.

3. Clear coat activation: Shake the spray can thoroughly before use (approx. 2 min). Remove the red part from the cap and place it on the pin at the bottom of the can, press against a firm surface and press hard. Shake again for approx. 2 min to thoroughly mix the components.

4. Coating:

   • Apply a very thin layer (dusting coat) to the degreased and dry surface.

   • Immediately apply a second, full layer with a smooth pass.

   • Let it dry (at 20°C ideally overnight, or 30 min at 60°C).

   • If necessary (for unevenness), you can polish with polishing paste after it is completely dry. 

Important Warnings:

• Use in a well-ventilated area.

• Use protective equipment (gloves, respirator, goggles).

• Do not let the clear coat dry in too thick a layer.

• After activation, the clear coat has a limited pot life (usually several hours, see exact instructions on the packaging).
